I’m trying to develop a green thumb so I asked my mom what the best kind of plant to get that I can look at and take care of. She gave me this money tree, and said when someone gives you a money tree, it’s good luck. So cool! 
My nephew, Jaeden standing with the help of his mommy. The fam – mom, dad, sis and Jaeden came over to the apartment today to hang out and go to the pool. It was the first time that Jaeden actually went swimming at the pool here, and he absolutely loved it! He also walked a little without any help today. When someone helps him, he’s pretty quick, so the thought of him being able to walk by himself is quite scary! He’s definitely going to be a quick walker. I can’t believe how much he’s grown and every time I see him, he surprises me with his little personality.
A new start calls for change. Yesterday (Friday, August 13) was my last day at my job. Today, my sister and I went to meet with the lady that did my makeup and hair for my wedding, since she had invited us to check out her makeup line, and gave us some makeup tips. Makeup definitely is something I don’t know much about, as far as technique and what looks good, but I’m learning! It was definitely fun, and dolling up makes you feel good about yourself, I think!

From here on out, I want to take a picture a day, and reflect on what that photo means to me. I’m starting a new life, so of course changes are in order… so here’s to change and working my way to a happier, healthier and more fulfilling life!
