1. Um, don’t rush to grow up so fast. 2. Have a more entrepreneurial spirit and not take money for granted! 3. Have fun and don’t cry over boys. That’s what I would have said to my 16 year old self!!

But, all in all, things happen for a reason, and probably wouldn’t have panned out like it should have if I didn’t make mistakes. I definitely learned from them.

NaBloPoMo, June 4 – What’s the first thing that pops into your mind when you think of your father?

Golf addict! LOL. My dad plays golf all the time. Usually on the weekends though. It’s pretty cool that he found a sport that he is really into, and even has made hole in ones! Besides golf, he’s a great grandpa to Jaeden, and has always been there for me, my sister and my mom. I’ve really learned that he truly wants us (me and my sister) to succeed in life and is always giving us his advice on doing so. Besides that, my dad makes the best garlic jalapeno chicken wings ever! I tell him he should open a business and sell them because they are freakin’ off the chain!

When I was little, and from what I can remember, I used to sing in front of people, mostly my dad’s friends.  I guess I either had a really good singing voice that my dad liked to show off to his friends, or he just liked the fact that I didn’t mind singing in front of my dad’s friends.  Maybe they were too drunk to notice, who knows.  But from that, I always thought that maybe one day I’d be a singer.  And up until 5th grade, I thought about that was what I was going to do when I grew up.

Unfortunately, I never became a singer, professionally at least.  I still sing to this very day, although I have moments when I feel like I suck ass, and other times I flip the channel to American Idol and see how wack these singers are and think, “gee, I can totally do that!”  Singing will always be a part of me, and it would be awesome if I ever got an opportunity to sing other than in the car, driving to work everyday.  To pursue something like that now wouldn’t be realistic, unless I was also musically talented, which I’m not so much anymore.  I guess it’s just singing on YouTube and hoping I can pull a Justin Bieber and get super famous, LOL.

My awesome wedding party cheering us on!  Glen and I are officially married.  Husband and wife!    The day was pretty crazy, and even though the ceremony wasn’t outside like we had planned for almost a year in advance, it is what it is.  I was pretty stressed out about it, because it would have been beautiful to get married on the golf green, under this huge tree in front of all my family and friends.  But instead, we got married inside, where it was still pretty, and all my family and friends witnessed our big step in our relationship.  Also, I was also stressed out about the weather in NY/NJ because of a snow storm that cancelled my cousins’ flights the day before the wedding.  Thankfully, they made a flight the day of the wedding and made it.

The entire day went by SO fast and I wish it didn’t.  I’m glad that we have some really awesome photos to look back at and a video (which is still in progress by our videographer).  Overall, the wedding went well, and people who went told myself and Glen about how great the wedding was, and that they had a great time.  Seeing all our family and friends made me realize how much they really care about us – otherwise they wouldn’t have made the trip down to FL!  And I value that so so much.

The honeymoon was great – a week in Hawaii was well needed and Glen and I had a lot of fun.  Being touristy and eating the local Hawaiian food, and of course, relaxing by the beach was our time there.  Not to mention fishing in the rain too!  I’ll upload the rest of the honeymoon pictures later, we took soooo many.

Now, the next part of our lives begins – as husband and wife!  An ongoing adventure…
